Dude, just do what I do. I buy it from verizon and I always tell them to charge it on my account and I pay for it on my next monthly bill:cool:
Use the cash for the trip! You deserve it... I think so:)

This is DEFINITELY the move to make. I've got about $90 left on an Amex gift card I'm using and telling them to put the rest on my monthly bill.

I'm having trouble deciding what approach I want to take with getting this device... I'm 99% sure I'm getting it Day 1; I already don't have work on Friday... I've got the cash to buy it from Verizon, but I'm leaving for snow skiing in a week and would rather put the device on my Best Buy card and use the cash on the mountain... problem is I don't know if Best Buy will even have the devices in on Friday or if I'd have to wait until next week. The last thing I want to do is not buy at VZW on Friday hoping that it comes out over the weekend at BB, then find out that it won't be out at BB until after I leave on my ski trip to then return to the VZW store and find out they are out of stock.

I would also love to have the car dock as soon as I buy the device for said ski trip (13 hour drive), but I think I'm going to see if I can sweet talk someone into getting me a standard dock, car dock, extended battery, and/or case for Christmas, which is, of course, after the ski trip.

This post shows me my problems could always be better :D

The last time I did the whole "put it on the bill move," which was for a t-bolt, they gave me 3 months to pay it off. You just had to make sure you paid the actual bill balance then anything you contributed extra just chipped away at the phone price. Have not done it since then so I can't verify it is still exactly the same.

Hey guys, in your experience, do Verizon Wireless authorized retailers like Wireless to Go usually get phones in on release day? The reason I ask is that there's one literally 1000 feet from my house and it would just be beyond convenient for me to grab my Nexus there Friday morning

You gotta work hard to have first world problems, that's what I always say...........ok I don't always say that, in fact that was the first time.

To be or not to be........................wait what was the question? This signature has been Tapatalk approved.

I ALWAYS forget about this option... I see it being talked about on here about 3 times a week and it never occurs to me that it is available to me as well.

Since they both open at 9, I think I'm going to BB at open, see if they have it, if so, I can use my credit card and rewards zone certificates and get a ton more rewards points and if not I will call the VZW store and beg them to hold one back for me as I drive like a maniac across town.

You know what's funny, I'm putting it on my next months bill too, planned on doing this from the start and completely forgot to mention that to you. Maybe I was subliminally jealous of your ski trip, in any case my apologies. :D

Guys...are you getting cases for your Nexuses? Take a look at this one. Looks good but I always have an issue with covering up my phone with a case.

Amazon.com: Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case & Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Nexus (SCH-i515 & GT-i9250) [Diztronic Retail Packaging]: Cell Phones & Accessories

You can't go wrong with a TPU case. Otterbox is nice, but bulky to me. TPU is the best all around in my opinion. Form fitting and virtually indestructible. Plus no pieces to snap together.
