While I don't want to throw cold water on all these "happy" posts, but why hasn't verizon made any announcement? I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of the marketing/advertisements on new cell phones, but wouldn't you think big red would've said something by now? I'm just curious with a dash skepticism :blink:

One reason I can think of is it's not a Droid phone, what Verizon strongly promotes as it is their line of phones. It doesn't have the red/black theme going on and only has 2 added Verizon apps. Also considering this phone will make its way to other carriers and go under the same name, it's not exactly an exclusive.
Another reason I can think of is they want to make sure they have a good amount in stock?

Just called my local Verizon Store, guy said he is waiting for the release date too and hasn't heard a thing about it but I live in New Hampshire, we are the last to hear about everything. I just found out that the Cold War is over?????

I finally cracked the code and figured out a release date! :dancedroid: What ever day it is, the release date is about a week away, never less than 3 days which is the case now!
