Its annoying how verizon can give us so many small releases each day, such as the exhibit in nyc, the 4.1 update... but still not give us a release date. i mean december 8th/9th is 4/5 days from now. I think its too late for an announcement today, so that leaves 3/4 days. that to me does not sound like enough time for a preorder.

I'll be getting her flowers no worries! Bad thing was after playing with the nexus for 10 minutes I wanted to throw my droid into the gutter. Its soooo bad in comparison.

There very well may not be a preorder, like the Rezound, just a straight launch.

At this point that is my assumption as well. Of course there are a lot of assumptions/rumors about the gnex.

I don't really care for a pre release anymore. I decided I'm just going to the store my buddy works at, he said he'll hold one for me. If this ends up being a big release and they sell out than I'm ordering it over the phone. Hopefully I'll have it day one though.

im buying it from the store also. the living social vouchers dont work online. if it comes out the 8th/9th, i will get it on saturday the 10th. I gotta wait till the weekend. i havent even bugun to think of it getting sold out.

They don't work online but the do over the phone.

I know, I just like to know I can complain at a retail store if I need to and get a decent reply. Any chance it gets sold out within 2 days at a retail store?

It past but it was that you could spend $25 to get $50 off on any phone or accessory and if you got 3 refferals then you didn't have to pay the $25.

For what it is worth, I stopped by my local VZW store and both the sales person and floor manager, without hesitation, said the Nexus and D4 will availible this coming week.

No troll. Stopped by my local store north of Charlotte NC in Mooresville. It is a high grossing store in an affluent town and they move a lot of phones. They did not waste anytime letting me know they would be availible this coming week.
