Any way we can get the pre-hybrid txt messenger app to work with this? Or at least make it "enter to send"?

I've noticed that tapping on a picture to view it in the aosp or blur cameras and trying to use the share feature will freeze the phone, it will then reboot about fifteen seconds after the freeze. I don't remember it doing this before trying speed script...but that may be a coincidence. Anyone else have this issue?

Ok, Before I begin with my new rom I wanna back up my sms and phone logs with Titanium backup. Anyone know what to select. I dont have a lot of free time to google it. If anyone knows off hand it would be helpful. Thanks

Its the green field under Phone Dialer/SMS/MMS/APN Storage.

A word of warning, TiBu will ONLY do this safely for the same version of a ROM/Android. If you are on GB and back that data up and then restore to ICS, it'll probably result in a continual FC for phone.com.android (or whatever its called). you can backup between Eclipse and stock Moto ICS because Eclipse is based on Moto ICS.

If you restore that backup to AOKP or CM9, it's gonna result in the same problems.

So be careful!

my stance is that you should wipe all data whenever going to a new rom so you dont have instability... and both messengers work on either

I am aware of this, it's due to the fact that the db files are formatted differently and are not really compatible. I currently have the leaked ICS rom and am planning on going to .217 tonight... If i have time. So no problems there. Thank you for the quick reply. Ill check to see if i was backing that up already or not.

Im on the rom now. Been using it since yesterday. Cant seem to find the 'messenger' app from the last one.
Whereas 'text messenger' IS there, but does not offer the functionality of the original.

pull the app from the hybrid rom and set permissions to rw-r-r-... this can be done with root explorer... the file is located in /system/app
