Long time gb eclipe, new ics user. Am i missing the place to configues things like ststus bar icons and how many homescreen windows?

I don't think you can customize the status bar toggles right now, you could use Notification Toggles (an ap) to add another set that you can customize, however. As for homescreen tweaks, that's part of whatever launcher you use, I'm still rocking ADW EX, which lets you change just about everything with regards to your home launcher (number of screens, animation between screens, format of app drawer, etc)

Sorry this post is all "use other apps" but that's generally the beauty of Android too

I have been a long time CM fan as my first custom rom was cm7 on my droid 2. I got the d4 and put the leaked 206 (i believe)and used safe strap to have cm9. With the lack of recent work, and constant battery drain I am looking for a new rom. This caught my eye but I have a few questions.
1. Do I have to do the OTA update and if so any issues like possible brick due to the leaked os?
2. If so is there a tutorial to get my phone to the OTA safely?
3. Any major Bugs?
I love the fact that this rom is being worked on and am excited to get something fresh on here.

I just realized that I can also cross-reference the patch you have made with the original files that are on my phone now (and in the stock OSs) - except that my phone has .kcm.bin files instead of .kcm - but I found some info on decompiling them.

I would use RSDLite to flash ICS, then root it, install Safestrap 2.11, and then flash Eclipse.

There really aren't any bugs, but when people wanted to use some of the stock Moto apps it didn't work because Eclipse has much of that junk removed so now Myfishbear is making patches to add some of those Moto apps back (I think it's the hybrid version).

I think he should upgrade to 217 because of the improved radio, and also if some problem pops up at least we will know it's not because he is on 206.

go with regular eclipse its better for battery life... the new moto phones do not come with blur cuz it sucked.

OrangeChooChoo, I planed on upgrading for this exact reason as long as there wasnt a high chance of me bricking my phone. Its nice to know that its not necessary and easy to do. Just need to not be lazy and get er dun. Now is when I hate myself for all the customizing I do.:biggrin:
