These may not be new to some members, but they were to me and this would be a good place to gather these "tricks".
Screenshot:
Hold power and volume down together for a screenshot. It helps to hold power a millisecond before holding both together.
App folders on home screen:
Start by dropping an app onto your home screen.
Maps, for example (lower left):
View attachment 46286
Now drag another app from your app drawer on top of the first to create a folder. (I created a GOOGLE folder):

To rename the folder, just tap the title when the folder is open:
