for this next build 628E.zip, boot into recovery with the build in clockworkmod as if you were powering off your phone but select reboot and choose recovery. you do not want to install the bootstrapper or you will need to sbf you phone again. after you boot into recovery, go to mounts and storage and wipe only the system, not data (unless you want to lose your data then you can wipe it), then go back to main clockwork screen and choose install zip from sdcard and choose 628E.zip. because you wiped where the marketplace was installed earlier by wiping system, you will have to reinstall google apps (gapps) the same way you did earlier and you can do this right after installing 628E.zip. after gapps installs, reboot your phone and enjoy. in this build, we have a functioning accelerometer which actually correctly faces the way youre holding it. i also changed the backlight settings to mimic how the 2.3.3 gingerbread build's backlight acted

for tomorrow's build i will try to get keyboard suggestions and a virtual keyboard to work when oriented in landscape

So what features aren't working now? The global, which Clavin's working on (you rock). You say the camera and video recorder... do you mean ANY camera apps or just the stock app? What other features aren't working? Also, for those who are using it, how's the battery life, speed, and stability?

Sorry for repeating the same question over and over.... But I'd like to know whether you're starting to work on the GSM/UMTS band, or need to wait a bit longer?

Something I've also noticed personally is that my battery life is very bad. With auto sync off and no wifi or gps, and minimal phone use, I got about 8 hours of battery life

Download 3G Watchdog Pro and see which programs are burning all that data. I found Spark360 uses an exorbitant amount of data constantly, deleted it and all is well with battery as well.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? Randomly after rebooting I will lose 3G service completely (WiFi/etc is not on). I've rebooted again but it still is not on. This is the second time it's happened. Any solutions other than wiping data?

I havent actually rebooted yet, so I cant confirm (and now im scared to) but hows your battery doing?
