EDIT: Does anyone know if editing the Haptic Feedback ms actually works? I tried editing the "Up" from 18 to 40 and I feel like it does not change.

Sorry I forgot to respond to your question toougly, honestly I don't know enough about global devices but I will give building a gsm/umts version for the pro a shot. If I build this gsm version, I'm pretty sure you will not be able to switch back and forth between gsm and cdma as the builds will be seperate. After the regular version is like 80% done, I'll give the gsm version a shot

This means until further notice, the ones you release will be CDMA only, which I won't be able to test out.

I have a something close to that mine is it does not connect to 3G for very long periods of times when it was fine moments ago with a strong signal

Don't bug him or her (what is it bro or sis? XD) we don't want to frustrate him and then he won't want to work on it or he won't release them often so we can see the progress that would suck when if they really making a Droid global rom im sure when they have gsm running he will port the fix

I'm wondering whether it's also worth a shot looking at the Droid 2 Global as well?

My priority is identical to dettofatto.
However, I'm sure most of the users here would put GSM/UMTS as last.

1) stable rom
2) everything else CDMA
3) gsm capabilities

I have been asked if this can be ported to the sprints version of the phone would that be very hard or what? They are both on cdma home networks so would just some code need to be changed?

As far as I know, the main boards of Droid Pro and XPRT are identical.

The only risk I foresee is that there hasn't been any SBF for XPRT out yet. So if anything happens, there's no turning back.

not sure if the xprt can run cyanogenmod however. the boards might be identical but the kernel may not support 2nd init. the only reason we can run cm7 is because thankfully 2nd init wasnt around when 2.26.60 was build by motorola. i guess after motorola found out there was a workaround allowing custom roms through 2nd init, they patched up the exploit for all further kernels which is why we are stuck with the 2.26.60's kernel and not something probably better in the two newer builds. since the xprt has been released so late, the kernels they use may be patched to not allow 2nd init
