Gonna build cyanogenmod 7 for the pro

Not sure to be honest if it can go beyond 100, do we all agree that the battery life was much better in the older roms I made in june? Before the break in the like one month break between when I made roms

mine- as far as battery isnt all that bad,I did notice it seemed like the one before this was a lil better,my usage says my screen has used most of mine and the rest of the apps is like 15 % or so,,but yall know more about it than I do,if you make another test run I will load it and see,its definitely alot better than the stock motorola rom,I am so enjoying it and I actually have frozen several apps in this too.

i'd like to give this another day or so. i always feel like the day after i apply a zip update the battery life isn't as good because the system cannot account for the lost battery because the system was not actually on when clockworkmod is active. give it a full charge and see how it is tomorrow =)

any gsm users try to use gsm?
and what's the verdict people? data fixed and no longer intermittently going out? hope so! =)

I know -__- now that the data is fixed (hopefully), can somebody who uses gsm to go settings, wireless and networks, mobile networks, and under network mode select one of the gsm choices? Preferably gsm only and see what happens? You should get a force close but can you try to reboot the phone and see what happens after the reboot?

The theme chooser problem is back, lol. I don't get it. I can select and apply the theme, It will apply with no problem, but when i reboot it returns to the stock theme.

I have tried most of the themes on this list.

I believe the theme chooser is happening to all droids with the cyanogenmod port. Not really sure as to why but I'll look into it. I believe I found a fix for better battery life. I've had my phone on for just over seven hours and I'm only down to 68%

Mines been on for almost 7hrs now and it's at 48% with moderate use. I like the sound of 68% though, haha. I checked my apps by partial wake usage and it says maps is above android system and i haven't used maps today at all? Weird.

Haha that's very strange indeed. The battery life should be close to that of the older builds before the month long break in my progress where the camera was still mirrored

First, I would like to say thanks for.putting this rom together. Second, did you make a change to the most recently issued rom in order to get better battery life (requiring a re-flash/install) or did you just tweak a setting? If the latter, which setting etc did you tweak?

The battery life modification would be fixed after installing a fresh zip so it's not a setting tweak but good question I'm sure others were wondering the same thing, does anybody know if the dock rotation issue has been resolved?

I haven't installed the newest rom yet bc im on vacation so I can't answer re the dock rotation issue. Looking forward to getting to install the newer rom. Will you be posting the new rom with the battery tweak to your blog soon? Or is it already featured in the update.zip you have on there?

The first day I used the new build my battery life was draining fast, about 10% per hour, but today I've had it going 11 hrs, very moderate use and I'm at 74%, I am using the extended life battery. This is where it was at on the first build so it seemed to work itself out, great work Jackpot.

I'll post an update tonight probably. I have a build from last night that should fix the battery issue but I also made a few new modifications and built another zip earlier today. I'm charging my phone right now so in the worst case scenario if the build doesn't boot, I'll still have a full battery to SBF. If it boots I'll make sure everything is operating as it's supposed to and I'll upload it tonight and I'll post a link to the new zip on this forum as well. Which issues are we having now?

GSM/UMTS is working pretty well.
There was an continuous error with com.android.phone, something of this sort that kept popping up, but then I settled it with initializing the DROID Pro properly and it was gone.

No big issues that I noticed so far, will update you if I find anything.
