maybe experiment with a border (black or the color you used for the highlights around the letters)
Another idea is to make the white transparent (no borders) so you just have the graphic
may look pretty sweet too.
The graphic is just popping though.
Ok, here's the next idea I had. Supposed to be like a neon sign on a brick wall. Sorta came out that way. Not done yet though. Is there any other words I should add to the right side of it? That's what the extra space is for.

what ive been working on. just the logo but will be adding text soon its water marked that wont be there on the final version
Wow insane, that GEM looks amazing. Really good job on that. Can't wait to see the rest of it. Are you doing this in photoshop? If so, when your done, can I get the .psd so I can make one with my name? If you don't mind of course.
