I will be heading overseas early next year so I'm trying to find a phone that I can use internationally. I currently have a HTC Rezound but I'm looking at purchasing a S3. I know I would have to purchase a SIM card for the country I will be using my phone in. What are the advantages and disadvantages if I was to get an unlock phone? Will I be able to use it with my current carrier(Verizon) when I return back from overseas? Or should I buy a Verizon version at full price? If that is the case, Is Verizon's international service worth it?
