1) hardware keyboard
2) more open development (I'm a developer)
3) NO EFFING ITUNES.

4) my iPhone was soaked in water, so I had a better reason to drop my plan early.

1. AT&T failed me with the Backflip so I left AT&T and got me a Droid

2. Low cost of entry as opposed to a Nexus on T-Mobile

3. Total control of the hardware and software

1) Customization. If it can be modded and customized i'm on board
2) Verizon Network...I gave at&t too many chances and they always disappoint. VZ hasn't disappointed me from day 1
3) Anti-Apple. I have never been a fan of apple and don't intend to be ever. Any product that can challenge apple is the product for me

  • Navigation – was replacing an older GPS – IQUE3600
  • Entertainment – eBooks, music, web browsing – again the IQUE
  • Heard you could use it as a phone too.

I had the smartest of the Garmin family of GPSs and I had a "smarter" phone (the Alltel Glimmer). I replaced both with the convergence device of a “Superphone”. I also bought Droids for my wife and two youngest children. I have convinced five friends to purchase Droids.

This is the Droid I was looking for. I am sold totally.
