text message trouble

just got the new Droid Turbo the other day so far I love it except
the problem I have is that the text messages that I receive keep getting deleted WHY??

Do the text messages get deleted right away? Are you able to read them?

Try using a 3rd party sms app and see if the problem persists...

Something else is going on here, though. Did you check in the SMS settings to see how long it's set to save? You can set a quantity to save, and then it will begin deleting the oldest ones as new ones come in. (I think mine is set to save the most recent 300). Maybe that setting has gotten messed up (set to 1) and it's deleting each text as a new one comes in?

I shut the phone down & restarted it and everything works fine now drives me nuts:confused:

True. There could have been any number of issues that caused it but often a reboot fixes all. Thanks for the reply.
