1. Bring a gun. If you're smart, you'll bring at least two.

2. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice.

3. Only hits count.

4. If your shooting stance is good, you're probably not moving fast enough or using cover correctly.

5. Keep shooting until the threat no longer exists; then stay sharp until somebody with a badge tells you to freeze.

6. If you can choose what to bring to a gun fight, bring a long gun and a friend.

7. In a relatively short time, nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.

8. If you are not shooting, you should be reloading or running.

9. Accuracy is relative: most hits will be more dependent on "pucker factor" than on the skill of the shooter or the inherent accuracy of the gun.

10. Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it's empty.

Interesting list.

11. If you've done 1-10, and it is still a fair fight for your opponent(s), you've screwed up somewhere.

This is my personal checklist...........

1. Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet if necessary.

2. Regardless of whether justified of not, you will feel sad about killing another human being. It is better to be sad than to be room temperature.

3. If you can choose what to bring to a gunfight, bring a semi or full-automatic long gun and a friend with a long gun.

4. Stretch the rules. Always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.

5. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.

6. Decide NOW to always be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH

7. Be courteous to everyone, overly friendly to no one.

8. The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.

9. Always tactical load and threat scan 360 degrees

and number 10 drum roll...............................

10. Forget about knives, bats and fists. Bring a gun. Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns. Bring four times the ammunition you think you could ever need.

Rule 1 of a survival situation, but ONLY a survival situation:

Only an idiot or someone truly naive considers violence to be a last resort.

Rule 2:

Anyone who says violence never solved anything has obviously never been in a survival situation.

Question. How come it's ok to talk about how much you love guns, put it in your signature, yet if I take a stance against it I'm being political?

No response required, just something to think about.

It's not Political, it's a Right granted by the Constitution....
