Ok got it booted up right now thru fastboot, with your rom going...no reboots or bootloops...but no data as you said

OK - can someone flash the kernel over the STOCK rom? I want to ensure that failing data is due to the AOSP rom and not the kernel ...

So you can make AND receive calls - but no sound either way?

+1 I tried calling myself and there was no sound when I flashed my backup I had a missed call from me. Good god I just read what I wrote and was struck by the realization of what a friggn' geek I've become.

LMMFAO!!! all in the name of root brotha! i came to the realization that im a phone geek after i rooted my G1 and evry phone since..ive yet to leave a phone unrooted...hahaha...

Also - would like the following command run, in adb shell, on both the STOCK rom (where everything works) and MY rom (where data does not):

find /system -name *ril* -exec ls -lt {} \;

And dump output here ... appreciate it!
