1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

    :) ZombieStomped 1.5 DX(Uploading now!) :)

    [IMG]

    Before I say anything, I would like to thank Jrummy for helping me with this as much as he did, also for bearing with me through all of my annoying questions. :p

    I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Imoseyon for looking over my code and for all of his awesome kernel tweaks.

    ^Without these two people the Droid X/2 rom community would be totally lame^

    For my second release I made a .588 build. This build seems to run better and has a few more tweaks ;) This is also the same kind of deal, install it and all of the good stuff is done for you!

    ZombieStomped 1.5:

    Init.d support:
    -interactive governor by default (much faster than ondemand)
    -logger disabled (Better performance and battery life)
    -local.prop redraw hack (I found a lot more redraws in GB compared to Froyo)
    -sysctl tweaks
    -cron, purge vm caches twice per day as GB is a high RAM OS
    -adb fix
    -slight minfree tweaks
    -undervolt on boot if you choose to want it

    All apps fully optimized:
    -Deodexed
    -Zipaligned on every boot
    -Bloat apps removed

    Other features:
    -build.prop edits
    -updated busybox to work with cron
    -CRT screen off animation (don't set window animations to fast in spare parts or it won't work)
    -added spare parts
    -added blur task manager
    -all known bugs have been squashed
    -added nano! (Thanks Jrummy!!!)
    -10% battery increments
    -haptic feedback level tweaks (they were incredibly low in .588)
    -Full android market

    -new white battery
    -new boot logo
    -new boot animation
    -new default background - Download it here!

    ^Phorgotten did an AWESOME job on these images, make sure you look out for his up and coming theme :) ^

    Scripts:
    -sysrw (mounts system rw)
    -sysro (mounts system ro)
    -undervolt (allows you to undervolt at 1ghz speed & should improve battery life)
    Reboot after changing to undervolt mode

    ^Big thanks to jrummy for writing the undervolt script for me^

    How to install ZombieStomped:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    YOU MUST ALREADY BE RUNNING EITHER OF THE OFFICIAL DROID X GB LEAKS WHICH CAN BE FOUND HERE
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    If you are running the official Droid X GB leak then:
    -bootstrap recovery
    -reboot into bootstrap recovery
    -MAKE A BACKUP
    -Wipe data/factory reset
    -Install ZombieStomped1.5D2zip
    -Reboot
    On the first boot it you're phone may reboot, this is normal and a side effect of the interactive gov on first boot.
    I've heard good things from the d2 version.
    Are the scripts for mounting thru terminal? I've been using jrummy's roottools to mount cause I can't ever remember the correct code. I've been thinking about trying to make a script to do it myself.
    Will it work on the .573 build? Because i dont feel like sbf'ing back to stock to install the .588?
    I know Drew Garen's roms automatically update your .573 to .588 and then whatever else ontop of that.
    It should be the same with this rom. It will replace the apps with whatever version the dev builds them from, as I understand it. I think the op also says it doesn't matter which version you install over.
    The 588 install method has been a pain for me. With Lexlite I wipe data and install the dxgbrooted.zip over whatever I'm currently running to clean up the system and then flash my rom from there. Works like a champ for me.
    I haven't had luck doing that with any roms I've used. As i understand, if they aren't made for the specific rom, they can change a lot of settings and tweaks the dev built into his release.
