The Family X Project

Family X Project
“It’s Not Reinventing the wheel. It’s making it spin.”

Family X stands for Family Exchange. It’s an idea that will provide a way for people to get products that they need using a brand new form of money. This will all be done through an exchange system built into a cell phone application! Members earn value by providing services, and then use that same earned value to buy services from other members. It will work like money, but in a different way…

Value System
How we find value on all products and services.

Demand: The amount of members that buy a product.
Supply: The amount of members providing that product.
The Demand ÷ Supply= Value on Product or Service!

• Members earn and collect value by providing.
• Members can buy services with the value that they earn.
• There are no limits to the amount of services or products a member can provide.
• Each member is given an initial buying amount.

Service Library
• Members can add a new service, with a description, while the community categorizes it.
-Categorization is done by other members deciding where they think your new service belongs in the service library. The services are placed where the most members have voted.
• Members can flag a service that might be illegal or already posted.

Ratings, Rankings, and Review
After buying a service, members rate, rank, and review each other to determine which members provides the best service in that region. The members themselves are not rated, but their performance towards a service is.

Rating System
• On Time 1-100
• Efficient 1-100
• Creative 1-100
• Satisfied 1-100

Total Score ÷ 400 = Rating Percentage.
-Each member counts as one rating per service, no matter how many times they buy a service from that provider.

Rankings
Members are ranked on each service they provide based on Ratings Percentage.
This brings competition while also helping buyers find the best service in their area. Members can also be showcased for their Rankings.

Review
Members can comment on each other’s service performance.
-This is only viewable to the provider and can help them improve their services in the future.
RRR’s are wiped clean on the member’s birthday, but RRR history is viewable to all members, except reviews.

The target market will be lower middle class citizens (majority of the people), because of the ability to gain access to what they need without having money. The market for an idea like this is huge due to the state of our economy. Anyone that has a cell phone, time, and skills that they can share would create a large new community of exchange that could relieve our society of financial stress and more. There’s also a huge amount of people that can’t find jobs in our society that would love for a way to make “money” while they’re waiting for one.

If game counts as an app -> some good strategy game, it can be turn based.

I'd like 2 different apps, they may already exist but I haven't found them yet.. The first one, I'd like an app that controls the screen rotation... I only want screen rotation when using the camera, gallery, or you tube.. That's it, never any other time... I hate when my phone rotates on me when texting or trying to do something.
The other app I'd like is an application that controls the location services, so that certain apps such as navigation, nearby places and maps have full unlimited location services, and apps like Facebook, weather apps, and the regular browser have none whatsoever, I'm tired of wasting battery life running my gps if I leave it on by accident. If there are already apps that do this, I apologize in advance.

You should be able to both of these really easily with Tasker.

Display -> Display Rotation -> Off

I think that should do it.

And then, create an exit task that sets the display rotation back to on. :)

Open Tasker, and in the Profiles tab, press the green plus to create a new profile. You can name it if you want. Press the green check mark to confirm your choice and move on. Now you need to select the first context. Tap Application. It will build a list of applications that are available; select the applications you want to trigger your event (ie, the apps you mentioned earlier). Once they're selected, tap the green check mark. Now you can either attach any existing (named) tasks, or create a new task. If you don't have any tasks made, just tap New Task. I recommend naming this task (something like "Lock Rotation" should work nicely). Once that's done, you can now work on the actual task. Press the blue plus button to add your first task. This will open the Action Category list. Take the time to browse the categories if you want; the numbers list the number of actions available. Whenever you're ready to move on, tap the Display category. Then select Display Rotation. Make sure the dropdown menu is at "off". Tap the green check mark. Your task should now display "1. Display Rotation Set Off" (with some formatting I don't care to attempt to reproduce here). If that's all you wanted to do, tap the green check mark.
Now rotation will be locked to what it was at the time you opened the app. In order to unlock the rotation (ie, enable automatic rotation), long press on the task and select Add Exit Task. If Add Exit Task isn't available, you probably long pressed the wrong item, try again until you get it. :) From here on the, steps are pretty much identical to what you just did (create a new task; if you named the locking task, I recommend you name this one as well--"Unlock Rotation" should work well). When you get to the Display Rotation action, change the Set dropdown option to On.

Make sure there is a green check mark next to this profile (which means it is enable), then press the green check mark at the bottom of Tasker. Now fire up one of the apps to test if it's working; if it's not, post a message and I can try to help you troubleshoot. :)
