Rooted D1, installed Dark Edge for some reason my phone went on a FC loop. Phone lost all functionality. Please Help!

NP, hook all input is welcome, yes it could work.

I just said for him to restore his backup from before he tried to install DE so he doesn't need to set everything up again before trying to reinstall DE.

OP, You want to boot into recovery and wipe data/cache then it's up to you weather you want to restore your backup or start clean.

Did the wipe data and cache, no go. I tried to restore my backup, I passed the M, DE bootanimation and back to FCs.

So I get this right, You wiped Data/cache and restored a backup made when your phone was working, and before you installed DE. After restore you still have DE temed stuff and you get FC's if this is correct start all over by using link 4 in my sig to unroot then link 3 in my sig to reroot.

Tallica, you are correct, used link 4 on your sig. Since i can only unmount my sd card, I DL the file to my comp and copied it to my card, renamed it, tried to apply it but it was unable to verify signature and aborted installation.

Ok, for a Mac it's usually link 4. What recovery do you have and what are the steps you are doing to install the update.zip?

Try downloading the file again from here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4033527/update.zip Delete any file on the root of your sdcard with the same name and move this file to root of card then try to apply update.zip again

(Is a directory)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
