That PC Mag review...she must never benchmarked a GS2...lol

Good ole Gizmodo....they ripped the Droid X1 apart last year. Droid X1 was still in the top 5 phones sold last year or beginning of this year, cant remember which. Thanks to bworley at AC and all his videos...I know the screen isnt as bad as some ppl make it out.

So far everything is terrific except Gizmodo which you can expect would not be stellar since they are a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple..

Here's another semi-critical review.

T
he author seems to find trouble with some bloatware and battery life.

This one is more positive...

b
ut takes issue with the camera stills (while saying that somehow the video is stellar) and the Pentile Display.

Overall so far reviewers like:

15+ Mbps LTE
1080p Video Capture
Phone speed (responsiveness and benchmarks)
Free Zumocast

Dislike:

Pricing
VZW Bloatware
Unpredictable still autofocusing

Are ambiguous about:

Battery life
Webtop application
Screen

Seeing it having 1 bar....he's probably in a bad reception area. That's a battery killer for 3G too...
