I've tryed everything, including pulling the battery during a ROM install.
Have you found a way to actually do it?

It's almost impossible to do it software wise with any droid that has an sbf however if u end up breaking ur bootloader that is u get the worst message ever that says not okay to program then ur bricked no matter what

U can also brick it by breaking the hardware by dropping it of course ha

Anyway i've never heard of anyone actually bricking their phone for real like to the point where they can't fix it

Are you actually trying to brick your phone? Why would you want to do this? You do know your warrenty is void if you brick your phone and can't go back to stock? I could see trying it just to see if it can be done but still, too risky in my opinion.

Um breaking ur bootloader is more by chance i'd think kind of like when ur recovery goes crazy or when busybox stops working i don't know of a way to just break it on command though

So you were rooted and you think the update bricked it?
What did you do?

no he wasn't rooted.
He took it into the store,
The rep said "i see your not eliagable for an upgrade but if you want to buy a D2 i can make that happen"
so $200 later he walked out! lol Got taken!
