i dont believe a droid phone was ever flashed to another carrier.... and it would be more of a hassle than what its worth

Plenty of them flashed to Cricket......

There is a guide to flash the droid to metro PCS but i think its only for OG droid ! XDA has the guide i believe ?

The OP said that he has the OG Droid. So there should not be any problem.
