Anti-virus app?

    Does the Droid 2 come with anti-virus software from factory? If not, do I need to download an app or software to handle this issue? I went to a site today that caused a warning to pop about a trojan horse virus of some kind. Thanks.

    No, Anti-virus is not needed.

    Unless you want the device to be laggy and have an awful battery life.

    the android os uses sandboxing so even if you get a "bad app" it shouldnt effect the device as a whole

    I've not read any article indicating that a Droid has been botted or received malware.
