Will there be a legal/supported update to version 2.1 at some point? I can wait if there will be since the phone is just so new and that whole warranty thing this time around.

Yes...Another update will be in Jan sometime....

Cool. I'll wait then. I have this tendency to get excited then brick techie things.

Not saying the Jan update will be 2.1, it could be 2.0.2 or something else...No one really knows...

At first I was a little leary on upgrading, figured I just wait a month but the geek in me decided to upgrade to 2.1 last night and I'm loving it, no issues so far!! :icon_ banana:

Does 2.1 add Microsoft ActiveSync security policy support? I'm referring to things like Pin requirement, data encryption and remote wipe that are necessary in the corporate environment.

Does anyone know if 2.1 fixes the bluetooth voice-dialing bug? I love the Droid, but plan on returning it next week if there is no news from Verizon/Motorola.

holy cheese balls reallY!?
i plan on getting bluetooth real soon, and i've already been having problems with my voice-dailing.
Now you're saying that i will have worse ! when using bluetooth?
