I've noticed a huge difference being on .901 so far. I live in a 4G fringe area and .893 made things worse for me, transitions required me to reboot (restart connections or airplane mode didn't work like they did on .886). SO far on .901 3G to 4G transitions happen really quickly and have been flawless. 4G signal seems to be holding much stronger, and I have connection in areas of the house i didn't before. Still have some dead spots in the house where I get no connectivity (seems like more of a network not a phone issue), but it'll transition from no connection to 3G - 4G quickly as soon as I move to an area of the house that gets signal. For me, it's a vast improvement over .893 which was a total failure of an update for people in 4G fringe zones.
I'm on day number four with 901 and haven't lost my data connection yet. Not only that but my battery is lasting much longer. I've been using my hotspot alot for the kids iPods and my kindle and it doesn't even phase the battery. I've used every leaked ota so far and this one blows the others out of the water for me.
I'm REALLY tempted to go .901, but my issues are not significant enough that I cannot wait for the next on-purpose "official" OTA be pushed out. .893 is working well for me and frankly, it's too much trouble for too little gain at this point to go to .901 and potentially have to roll-back to take a diofferent "official" OTA should it change between .901 and final release.
