Vehicle charger

I'm about to pull the plug on upgrading my D1 to the D3. Does the vehicle power charger from the D1 work on the D3? I would like to avoid purchasing things I already have.

Mine works fine. I have the one with the Motorola logo and the blue light when it's plugged in.

It should work fine, though it doesn't seem to charge as fast as my d1 did over USB. And charging while doing anything else is even slower (or non existent)
