I will get the extended battery as well. :biggrin: i will be getting that one on christmas day though. im just kinda surprised you cant really tell because if the D1 went to a 2100mah battery the thickness difference is significant. *then again this starts at 1850... but the extended is only like 250mah

Yeah, doesn't seem like much of a jump from 1850 to 2100. A 13% improvement would really depend on the cost. Any word on the cost since it has the NFC built in to the battery? And what does it do to the case, or putting it in the HDMI dock?

I know the Bionic case already had the bigger bump for the extended battery (like they somehow knew everyone would be buying the extended battery).

And the HDMI dock.....you had to pull off the case for the D1 and DX I owned to get it into the stock dock. My bionic case has the kickstand so I never bothered to get the dock. Is there a case with a kickstand, or does the dock take the phone with the case?

So many questions now that it actually feels I'll be getting one soon!! :icon_ lala:

I always buy my phones online and do not remember ever paying an activation fee. I will probably be walking into a VW store friday and picking up a Galaxy Nexus. Does VW representatives charge to activate phones? If they do can I ask to do it myself through the website?

The battery door looks minimal(p3 said it feels the same). I think itl fit in all the docks. No need to worry. As for cases i still think they would need to be out of the case. Ill be getting the hdmi dock eventually.

And thanks for the response....I haven't looked, but is there a case with a kickstand? I find I don't need the HDMI dock if the case has the kickstand. And it's nice for watching movies when bored at work.

I think your right, but what we can do now is take bets on how many posts this thread will have in the end. I know this will get locked once phone comes out. im saying 2900....

This may be a stupid question but for those who have switched phones (rooted) were you able to load all your titanium backup apps with data on to the new phone? Not like going from a D1 to a new D1 but going from a D1 to a Nexus? When I get my Nexus I want to be able to take all my apps from my D1 and load them right on to that bad boy with a seamless transition, no data lost and the whole 9.

I think it's the anticipation and not the venting that is increasing the page count. Took 2 weeks to get to 2000, and we added 500 posts in the last 28 hours alone. 3k isn't even in question.
