I just "chatted" with VZW and they gave me nothing on release date. Said it wasn't available at this time. I still don't know what to believe.

Im really hoping that verizon makes an "official" announcement before the 9th. I have a hard time believing that they would release this phone with no kind of heads up to consumers, even waiting this long really surprises me (assuming it comes out on the 9th). Its hard to ignore all these "leaked" screenshots of verizon materials clearly showing the release date, but im not getting my hopes up after all the rumors that have been surrounding this phone.

For me it either has to be on Samsungs website or Verizon's for me to fully believe this. I can see Verizon waiting since there's no pre order, but I'd kind of like to have a source.. unless sites like Droid-Life get stuff first?
