[h=1]Samsung Galaxy Nexus now available from Vodafone UK[/h]
By Alex Dobie 01 Dec 2011 1:29 pm

Vodafone UK arrives fashionably late to the Galaxy Nexus party, with today's announcement that the British network is now offering Google's latest flagship device on-contract. Be sure to check out our exhaustive review for more on the device itself.
Voda's currently offering the new Nexus for free on 24-month contracts of £41 or more per month, which also nets you 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of data. If that's a little steep for you, you can downsize to between £26 and £36 per month for a smaller usage allowance, along with an up-front charge for the phone. Head over to the source link for the full list of plans.

fellas, i gave up, got htc rezound this morning, i guess im off the galaxy nexus train

I am seriously considering that myself today after work.. If the GNex comes out in two weeks I can swap it out. If not I don't want to wait any longer.

LOL. My job replaced our blackberries with iphone 4's today. I hate iphones! Now I REALLY can't wait for the nexus to come out!

4's no siri for me.

Yeah my work offers blackberries for free or you can pay for the Iphone out of pocket and they will support it. I am lucky enough to be REALLY nice to our IT folks who informed me I can run my android just w/o having support. I haven't had to carry two phones in quite a while now and love it. They even reimburse 80% :icon_ lala:

They have dropped the ball so very bad in a world where the hardware is outdated almost instantly. And the Nexus was already not the best specs to begin with.

Believe me, I'm annoyed at Verizon as well about the delay in delivering this phone to their customers (and especially me!), but you might consider a different perspective. That is, a Nexus phone is not outdated until the next Nexus phone comes out. One doesn't buy a Nexus to have the latest and greatest hardware, you have a Nexus because you'll be first to have the latest and greatest OS software directly from the Googsters themselves...

Excuse me if it has been posted already, but I have read like 5000 of the 10000 post in this thread and did not see it. Anyway Ebay has then on auction now for shipment on the 9th.

those won't work on VZW's network unfortunately.

I'm back on the Gnex train just returned the RAZR, we had a good ride for a few days but it just didn't feel right. Good all around phone but it just felt weird in my hands like I was always about to drop it, just too thin & light for my liking. So now VZW give us our release date so I can stop checking these damn forums like its my second job!!

Besides, who'd pay $700 for a phone that was only 3g, or at best the stupid HSPA+. For that money it had better be 4g darn it.

I have not heard that VZW officially announced the GNex, only thing I've seen is rumors and speculations of a December 8th or 11th release.
