Say wha? :money: What was your original upgrade date again? How did you get an early upgrade? :crazy: Mine is July 2012. Going to try and get it early.

You should check into that. My contract is up in April and I got an early upgrade notice a few months ago. Oddly enough, if I wait until Dec 8th I'll get a discount. Believe they called it a loyalty discount.

Jose: Could you give me a time frame at least? My phone is in really bad shape and I need a new phone asap! It freezes a lot when I try to make calls. I'm afraid I'll have to make an emergency 911 call one of these days and my phone won't work, and I'll bleed out and die :(

Jose: Ok, I click on the line I'd like to upgrade, and I see several phones except for the Galaxy Nexus. Am I doing something wrong?

Sarah: We do not have that device yet.
Jose: Really? I thought it was supposed to open for pre-order today!
Jose: So when will it be available?
Sarah: I am not sure you would be able to get email alerts to see when teh device may come out.
Jose: So there's no release date? What information do you guys have?
Sarah: I do not have any information at this time.
Jose: Last time I spoke to customer service over the phone they said pre-orders started today, and the phone would ship by 12/8.
Jose: So I'm a little surprised to hear you have no information.
Jose: Is there anybody else you could ask? Please?
Sarah: We in the same department with sales and we do not have any information. What I would recommend you do is sign up for email alerts and you would be able to see when the device may launch.
Sarah: Is that okay?

Jose: I just don't get how customer service gives me a confirmed date, but sales has no information on it. Was I lied to?
Jose: How would that work? I can return the phone for a full refund?
Jose: Oh, and I've been hearing a lot about some new Droid thing called "Ice Cream Sammich". What is that?

Jose: So Ice Cream Sammich, is that a new phone? Or an app? I read it can unlock my phone with my face. Does that Razr have that?
Sarah: You would be able to see in the mart if you have a smart phone.
Jose: Yeah I have a smart phone, I have the original Droid. So Ice Cream Sammich is an app I can download?
Jose: I just tried opening the market and my phone crashed. It's rebooting. I hate my phone.

Jose: Hmm, so what if I buy the Razr and the Nexus isn't out in 14 days? Can you guarantee it will be out before then?
Sarah: No I am not assure uyou that.
Jose: What about by Christmas? My wife said this phone was going to be my Christmas present. If it doesn't come out by then, I won't have anything to look forward to for the holidays.
Sarah: It may come by then but I can not guarantee you that

I think the easiest way to get to it is to start the process of upgrading your device and it will an option in the top right corner of the page.
 
I'm getting pretty sick of the information blackout from vzw, might switch to att and get a skybolt.

It's weird, I can't seem to get the option to come up now... it's like they don't give you the option until they think you are getting frustrated and ready to quit picking out a new device.
