After that last update we had that gave us the big colorful icons in the settings menu, my razr been dropping Wi-Fi connections and forgetting the password. I've had type it in several times for my home network recently. Never did that before. What's going on and what can be done to fix it?

I hate to ask this but have you tried a factory reset to see if that fixes your issues? I haven't experienced this issue with the latest update, only issue I'm noticing is on a power reset, I get a "SIM removed" message

Sounds like your router is forgetting your MAC address. Have you tried reserving an IP address for your MAC ?
Your MAC address can be found at:
Settings -> About Phone -> Status

Before you do Factory reset, I think you should synced your stuff with Backup assistant (yes this assistant is very scary as it can hold wifi password) first. I would then try to forget the network, and you should re-enter the password until you are connected. If wifi connects, then you should go to your back-up assistant again and back up your stuff. The last resort would be Factory reset.
