So has anyone on ICS leak 215 successfully gotten the JB update, or atleast anyone on 215 that was involved in the failed update? Just wondering if 215 will affect it. I'm on 215...

I was awakened at 330am to an update notification. I am rooted with frozen bloat so it failed instantly.

I side-loaded last night after using the Droid RAZR Utility from Matt L Groff to Fastboot back to stock .211. It worked perfectly and I am on Jelly Bean now, coming from .215. See below:

Only thing I forgot was to root and protect and un-root before upgrading. LOL! Oh well, I'll have to wait till Jelly Bean is rooted for us, or I could be the guinea pig and try to roll back!

Ota update has been pulled from server probably a mistake in early release go here http://www.droid-life.com/2012/12/24/original-droid-razr-receiving-mysteriously-large-331mb-update-as-build-98-72-8/
for instructions to manually update. Scroll to update 5 and download jb and follow instructions

I downloaded and installed jb 4.1 from the link above just fine. Looks good and is smooth but lost my foxfi and am guessing the devs won't be able to fix out this time. $7 down the drain and i paid that on 12/07/12. :-(

Let us know if you roll back. May have to, in order for foxfi to work.....

OK but I cannot get Matts utility to work on my laptop; in fact, use of any laptop is pretty much out for me. If I had known that I would have needed to use my computer to revert I would have avoided it. The phone actually replaced my computer...how screwed am I?

Not to brag or troll but I guess we I am one of the few that actually got the OTA update before Verizon realized they screwed up. ^_^

No worries! People have the option to side-load the file, as I did.

Is there any chance that I will brick my phone using the side-load method?
