I'm gonna pass. That thing is HUGE!!!! Plus I'm not a fan of motoblur and it makes me worry about the speed of updates with the custom ui over android

good point on the updates. Motoblur is going to delay any further updates significantly. the people with sense are in the same boat

I think I heard or read somewhere that VZ Moto X would NOT have Motoblur...

Lol, Motorola/Verizon is claiming that it's not Motoblur but is a Custom UI instead. Ironically someone snooping still sees references to Motoblur within the Firmware (or where ever lol).

Still though the point is that it has a custom UI which means it's still going to get delayed in updates somewhat.

You don't have to worrying about battery life when comes to Droid X. .it's way better than evo

T minus 3 days! i will hopefully have it opening day.. i have to work from 7am to 7 pm but ive been told ill be allowed to head over and try to pick one up.. i just hope the line isnt huge and they arent sold out.. if not ill order it online and have it by saturday(hopefully)

I was going to buy one immediately, but now I think I'll wait until it's confirmed the bootloader is or isn't locked down...

I'm holding out for the Samsung Fascinate

Yeah, I'm thinking about buying a Droid X at Costco which apparently has a 90-day return policy, and switching to the Fascinate when it's available...that thing was rooted in no time...<3 Samsung for that. Motorola really trying hard to keep the Droid X from being rooted is getting very annoying.

Where @ Costco does it say you can do that? I would love to do that maybe. I'm not a big fan of Samsung anymore I just don't like there phones I had a Omnia... Anywho DROID X is rooted but no custom roms cause of locked loader
