does anyone know what the background file is called for the sms conversations? ived tried a bunch and i havent found it yet. im editing it and im not sure which it is.

That might be your best bet. I couldn't find an image or color data in any related file. Sorry I couldn't be anymore helpful.

i know everyone advises NOT to do it because it doesnt work, but with more and more phones coming out with locked bootloaders, couldnt you theoretically have a pre-installed kernel in a ROM and flash it all as one? that way you wouldnt have to flash a kernel by itself it would be a simultaneous install
i know that doesnt work now but in the [near] future, couldnt this be possible? im sure some dev has thought of it and im sure one of them has a brain big enough to conjur up a way to make it possible.

maybe im just an idiot...?

EDIT: i understand you can use a stock kernel, but im referring to using a custom kernel

i have a question, know how when you install rom manager plus he premium version,you end up with 2 temporary rom manager apps but eventually only one working one. the other icon become unusable but remains on desktop. how do i delete it, i tried the normal way of draging it up to trash can but that uninstalls it from market lol. any ideas

try opening the premium, then the regular. then reboot.

the premium one is supposed to disappear on its own. it always does for me after i mess around with them for a minute.

Applying the redraw fix (search this thread)helps out tremendously, mine only redraws when returning from dock mode or if i open the keyboard while using the launcher.

Though I do find that after a redraw (when the keyboard is opened/closed) it seems to slow everything down for quite some time. Anyone else experience this?

I had that issue with the keyboard and slowdowns too. Got me to take a break from MIUI for a little bit and see what else is going on in the new ROMs out there. I'll be back though. I just love this ROM

I am doing the same. Got M1's rom loaded this morning and may try m first Cyanogen rom tonight.

I suspect I will be back though.

Yeah I agree, I have miui loaded right now but the overall speed/battery drain is making me think about flashing back and come back further down the road when its more stable. Before miui I was on BB V0.5 and it was amazing. So you say Cyanogen is good huh? Haven't tried it yet, I might give it a go.

if you delete that icon then usually the actual music icon will be under it or some where else on desktop

Am happy for you but how does that help me:icon_eek:? Can you please take a screen shot of what your "music Icon" look like? maybe its a different icon that has my music..Idk at this point..
