MIUI keeps closing apps that I am trying to use

First off I would like to say that so far this ROM is sweet (and I know its still beta), but If I try to use an app that uses a lot of memory it usually wont work. If I am listening to music and try to do anything else MIUI closes the music app. I recently got Dungeon Hunter from gameloft( there giving it away on there website) and I can't get it to play. I tried restarting the phone to free up as much memory as possible and it still doesn't work. Am I the only one having these memory issues or is this a known problem?

same.. touiteur did it to me.. force closed when i had that opened plus xscope. not sure what exactly is causing it; came from bb 0.5 and wasn't having the same memory issues there.

I've never had any issues or force closes with MIUI. You HAVE to wipe in clockwork data/cache/factory reset before you install, to get the best results. I also wipe the cache partition and then go format boot and format system, but it's been said wiping data/cache/factory reset is enough. If you don't wipe, it's pretty much asking for issues. It's really not a big deal, you're stuff syncs back. I can do the whole process and have my phone set up back to where it was in 15 to 20 minutes no problem.

actually, i did backup and wipe data/cache both times i installed it. in fact, i always go through that procedure when switching roms... it does indeed lead to less issues down the road. which is why i was shocked by the issues i'm having now. for instance, i was trying to load up pandora. it just freezes on me. manages to lock the screen and no amount of trying to unlock the screen works. i have to remove the battery and restart.

other than that, i'm loving miui.. by far the most polished rom from a usability perspective.

its not without its little bugs and glitches (such as viewing the contacts screen when in landscape mode... definitely wasn't built to scale/re-orient).

I wiped data/cache when i installed it. Im not having apps force close im having android trying to free up memory by killing the apps I am trying to use. Miui kills a lot of the games I try to play
