HTC Refutes Rumors That They Intend to Drop Beats Audio

Yesterday we reported a rumor that HTC was considering cutting the prices on all their phones, and dumping their Beats Audio partnership completely. Since that time, HTC both refused to comment, but then backtracked and issued a public statement refuting part of these rumors. Here is HTC's final statement on the matter,

“HTC remains strongly committed to Beats Audio and including their innovation in our devices,” HTC said in an emailed statement. “Any rumor of HTC no longer integrating Beats Audio into our devices is categorically false.”

So, they aren't dropping their Beats Audio, but where does that leave us with the price drop rumor? Unfortunately, we have not received anything regarding that part of yesterday's news. For now we can just cross our fingers that they will still have a price cut, but that it won't be so drastic as to damage the company. We will keep you in the loop if more info is shared.
