Hi Sirius/XM

Longtime XM subscriber here. Joined them a few months after they launched years ago. I kind of hope they do develop an app but what is up with them nickel and diming us now? Music royalty surcharge, have to pay to listen online now and the second receiver on a family plan increased $2/ month? I'm getting to the point where I want to cancel...

Hasn't been the same since the siruis takeover. Now we have to help pay Howie's salary too. The royalties thing is pretty ridiculous as well but as I understand it, there wasn't much of a choice for sirius/XM.

its weird the music quality went down but the talk channels went up (I'm a big ol poofter and really enjoy the GLBT channel from Sirius that xm did not have)

Just replaced my sirius stiletto 100 with a stiletto 2 due to theft and the lifetime was $399 one time payment or $80 for five months. You get two transfers on the account at $75 a transfer and internet for free.

Come on droid app for sirius/xm

Erik, I feel the same way about the nickel and diming. I have one music station that I like, but am on the brink of cancelling. Norm

lol...took me a minute to figure out what poofter meant. You really think the talk channels went up? A few stations I listened to were removed that I miss. Several music channels I liked were also removed. Went from 4 latino stations to just one...oh well

This here is why I am ambivalent to get a lifetime sub:

XM has gone down the tubes since Sirius took over: those ridiculous two-city traffic reports, too many individual performer channels, standards channel pretty much hijacked by Sinatra music, Oprah channel over Take Five, Cosmo (ick) channel, etc. At least they left the 40s channel and Escape alone.

i considered getting a lifetime subscription as well, but was halted when i learned that they wouldn't transfer them out of OEM equipment.

I tried emailing them abt three weeks ago, and got no response. I'm hoping a third party dev tackles it. I would pay for this app.

I've had the XM lifetime since it came out....I've gotten my money out of it...It has gone down but still serves it's purpose for me...

As long as I have Opie and Anthony, Its all good. I would love this app, so I can listen at work(Night Shift in Emergency Room)

I just want the rumored-to-be-in-beta GrooveShark app- I'll take a program that lets me CHOOSE my song any day.

and that's different than just having a whole bunch of MP3s, how? some of us like to be fed music, there's still some validity to dj driven music.
