Gonna build cyanogenmod 7 for the pro

Hey Jackpot, I'd just like to say thanks for everything you've done on this. You're the reason I decided to go through with getting a Droid Pro after seeing the lack of ROM support.


Anyway, has anyone experienced the issue of the touchscreen not working at seemingly random times during use? Once it stops working, the only way I can get it to start working again is by turning the screen off and on (sometimes multiple times), and this only fixes the problem temporarily. I just put 808 on yesterday and it was working great at first (although the Camera wasn't working, but a reboot seemed to fix that), and then last night and today, I'm having this screen issue.

Any input is appreciated

I have never had that problem it might be device specific and only effecting yours. Anyways, I've been working on using the newest kernel (radio file) from the gingerbread version for the droid pro and it has gone fantastic so far. The droid 2 and droid x are also doing the same for their phones and have reported that they also have 100% working bluetooth so hopefully our phones will follow suit. This update will have to be installed on top of the 2.3.3 motorola version and I will most likely post it tomorrow

Yes, very, very likely. For now, I would only flash this rom if you have the two-part gingerbread zips by TBH. I will look into how we can get this integrated with the regular non-TBH file (I saved the zip) so I will work on that so y'all don't have to buy the TBH app, but for now, just those who have the tbh should try

So if we already have CM7, we can't just flash the update on top of that? We'd have to SBF back to stock, upgrade to rooted Gingerbread, then flash the updated CM7?

You'll have to sbf to 3.8.7 and then update to 2.3.3 and then wipe the system and install the new cm7 for the gingerbread kernel

Also, live wallpapers function fully so you can run them now as opposed to the previous builds. I should add that the camera is yet to work and there is a bug where the dsp manager force closes when you make or receive a phone call but everything else works 100% as far as I know

Ah...then I will have to wait until there is a root method for 2.3.3. I'm not going to buy the TBH app.

so i was playing with phone and bricked it so a sbf and ended up going to TBH gingerbread so waiting for new build please let me know whats going on

Me too,I thought it was already up,Jackpotclavin must have had a problem,I have flashed mine to TBH and settin on ready,maybe it will come in a minute,just saw the Droid 2 global Gingerbread leak and downloaded it,my wifes running the CM7 on her D2G now and she loves it,so standing around,u doing a great job Jackpotclavin,thanks again

sorry guys things just aren't going as according to plan >< stay with the rooted tbh for now that's what you'll need in order to flash this new rom. i'm working on how to get this without having to buy the tbh app for all those who don't want to
