Gonna build cyanogenmod 7 for the pro

I don't know if this helps, but im having data connection issues with the rooted stock gingerbread. It'll play hopscotch with 1x and 3g constantly during the day.

3g

yes im having same prob,if i have usb charging cord or charger from wall and cut it off and back on ,it will not get 3g coverage,i have to unplug, shut it down ,then reboot and i have 3g coverage,Now I have the stock gingerbread from p3 ,I trimmed it down and its super fast and its working great, the tether works great even the usb tethering is nice with the hotspot or the aftermarket tethering app, thats one of the updates, anyway when the cm7 gets a few updates i will flash back to it

Hey Jackpot, I have a question regarding the 3G data connection. It seems most times it doesn't work for me. Wifi will work just fine but 3G doesn't work. I have enabled data over mobile network and when I disable Wifi it wont connect to any data services. It only works if I reboot the phone. Is anyone else having problems with 3G??

Keep up the great work btw....looking forward to a camera fix. :D

3G? GSM? where? tell me!
:-)

Hi,

First off thank you for putting so much effort on this. I'm trying to build a zip from your source by executing this quickie bash script:

Code:
#!/bin/bash

zip -r -9 ../lurkerdroid.zip . -x@../exclude.lst
java -jar ../signapk.jar ~/.ssh/cert.pem ~/.ssh/key.pk8 ../lurkerdroid.zip ../signed-lurkerdroid.zip

But when I applied the zip, cleared cache and rebooted, I ended up with a blank screen (after the M screen). Did I miss something here? I'm new to the scene and haven't packed a update.zip before. Is that because of some 2nd-init stuff?

Thanks.

When I say 3G I mean CDMA. Sorry.

Update: it seems to be working fine now for some reason. All it does is take a while to switch. If I'm using 3G and decide instead to use wifi, I click my wifi widget and it takes several minutes before it actually swiitches over. Weird.

I know quadrant scores don't necessarily mean real world performance, but now that overclocking the Droid Pro is possible with Quickclock, I thought I would run it just for fun. Thought you all might want to see the score I came up with. Impressive nonetheless in my opinion. Clocked at 1.375 ghz.

When you OC using Quickclock, is the change reflected in setCPU? Could I have a max/min of 1.375/300 in setCPU then?

Another question. Anyone running CM7 able to run different keyboards yet. I like using TouchPal but I can't get it to work on my CM7 Pro. Thanks

oh but its getting worked on

Its getting worked on in the background, ninja wolf has created a repository for any issues, so if anyone is running this .please go to the droid pro repository site and add the problems,he -right now is working on the camera issues,so it wont be too long before we have something to test on it,we are greatful to all who are invloved in this undertaking, thanks again

Fastburst Camera Lite does allow me to take a picture in portrait mode and save to my sdcard. The free version is very limited, no flash ect... the camera still inverts in landscape mode, but it will get me by.
