hey just wondering if in the next build will there be the video play back fixed? i know you said there was a fix but just check if that is going to be in there cause im back to root gingerbread and dont want to go back till that and camera are fixed. Also could put in the inverted camera in, in the next build inverted camera better then no camera

Hey guys, in order to fix the camera inversion, couldn't we just flip the phone upside-down (as in keyboard above screen) and take a picture that way? Seems like inverting an inverted camera would result in a standard picture. Its obviously not perfect but that would seem to work until someone finds a software fix and let jackpot calvin get back to some of the smaller, more manageable bugs. Just my thoughts...

They actually never had the issue with a mirrored camera. I find it very strange that you can build cm7 for the droid x and droid 2 and have a perfect camera but for the droid 2 global and the pro we have camera issues even though we use the exact same source code which is why we are stumped right now

Doubt it, the droid x and droid 2 don't have this problem but the droid 2 global and the pro do. I think all we have to do is add a line of code to a library to flip the main display and we should be on our way

camera for cm7
,I went in build.prop on original gb and copied all the camera specs and went on this cm7 and went in and pasted it in the cm7 build.prop, thats how, then now i take a pic and u see pic it aint inverted but it wont take another til u cut it off and back in, the camera that is,so maybe that info will help,keep up the good work

wait it wasn't inverted anymore when you did that?

Seems like he's saying it corrects the inversion, but makes it so that you can only take one picture each time you open an instance of the camera, causing you to have to close and reopen the app each time you take a pic.
Better than inversion, IMO.
