The Market app should be in my app drawer after the boot, correct?

Working on this now, I see why they say to have a fully charged phone.

Alright it's up and running. I tried the GApps .zip file twice and still nothing.
My email (work) also won't sign in.

Didn't work for me either. Returning to normal because I have to use my phone for work.

I googled for a Google Apps zip and this one happened to work.

Put on SD card, rebooted into Recovery and installed (While CM7 was already on). Didn't wipe anything and rebooted again and it worked. Don't go by me though, I don't know if it will make any problems in the future. Got Market, GMail, YouTube, etc with this. You can choose the apps to install.

Has anyone been able to get it to allow you to add an account to the "Email" app? If I can do that (and if that posted .zip works), then I'll be good to go and give this another shot tomorrow.

I use GMail but I tried an old Yahoo account on the Email app and couldn't connect it. The zip I linked has been working so far so things are looking good..

More importantly has anyone found a work around for keyboard backlight

The keyboard backlight raises and lowers as I raise or lower the display brightness. However, as soon as the screen goes off, it gets reset so if the backlight is a necessity then just adjust the brightness everytime you need it. I also noticed that surface dithering was enabled. After disabling it and rebooting I can notice a slight difference in performance. Everything is just a bit smoother.

In the Network Settings, I only see CDMA options.
Are there ways that I could do to enable GSM/UMTS, or I need to wait for a new build version?

The only real problem so far for me would be the keyboard backlight. Other than that this is an amazing ROM 
definitely the best I've used (coming from droid 2)
