Q&A Section:
Q: What do I need to be running first to flash eclipse?

A: You will have to be on a rooted version of gingerbread before hand

Q: How do I install Eclipse?
1. sbf to 234
2. Root using MotorolaOneclick
3. Install Voodoo OTA rootkeeper and protect root but temp unroot
4. Apply 235 update in stock recovery
5. Restore root in Voodoo rootkeeper and delete backup (make sure root is restored before deleting!)
6. Install bootstrap
7. Reboot into bootstrap recovery
8. Wipe data
9. Flash eclipse
10. Profit from its beauty

Q: I am geting force closes and other weird stuff
A: It is highly recommended to wipe data each time you flash eclipse. If the problem persists I would re-download the rom, wipe data and flash again.

Q. My wifi isn't working
A. You MUST be on the latest OTA 2.3.5, 418 build first...

Downloads:
Download Eclipse v2.3 : Dev-Host - X2-Eclipse-v2.3.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service

Other Downloads:
Download non-inverted calendar (not flashable): http://eclipserom.com/mods/click.php?id=130

For you GO Launcher users out there I have a matching theme you can download from the market. When using the theme make sure you open launcher Preferences -> Visual Settings -> Icons -> Theme Icon and change it to default style to remove the weird background on the images.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gau.go.launcherex.theme.EclipseBlue

Notes:
You must be on the latest 2.3.5 build prior to flashing this due to no kernel being included!!!!! You can flash v2.3 on top of v2.2.1. If you have issues just wipe data.
Dock will force close on first use. Select "Clock" on first dock and it will default to it and no longer force close. Need to set this as default.
Wiping Data is recommended
You do not need to install previous versions first. Just flash the latest version. If you flash a theme not designed for 2.3 nyan cats will die.

Just gotta say

This is nice improvement over any other rom I've tried on Droid X2. I hope to see some BlackNBold conversion sooner or later. I have moved most of my blackNBold widgets over but really miss my bnb framework. This rom is the fastest i've used on here so far. great job guys.

UPDATE: I went from 05 to 1.0 no wipe was expecting issues but so far so good. then I added my widgets let it go a few days and see how I like HOpe by then X will find time to perform his magic for US.

Maybe a dumb question... I'm on atrix port 2.3.4 but does that act the same way as the ota 2.3.4 or do I need to go back to pre rooted 2.3.3 then update to flash this?
#edit I just saw based off of ota 2.3.4 so I guess that's my answer

Is anyone else having wifi problems with this ROM? I made sure to flash 2.3.4 first, per the no kernal included note, but still had issues. For now I am running 8.1 with no problems.

I have been experiencing the same issues. My wifi doesn't stay connected for no more than about 2mins, if that. Other than that I have no other issues and a great rom in the works.

I can't get wifi to connect at all from the first boot with the rom. It just keeps trying but is never able to get an ip.

I have had zero issues with rom wifi or others. What other apps have you installed? Did you start from a complete three times data wipe?

Yes, I have wiped, made sure I had 2.3.4 installed even after the wipe, re-wiped multiple times and no matter what wifi will not connect. Can you tell me what your kernel says in "about phone" when you have 1.1 installed with working wifi?

I did everything I was supposed to do before flashing the ROM. My wifi just keeps going on an off. I currently just switched back to the atrix port ROM.

There is obviously an issue, as we are not the only ones who can't get wifi to work. I flashed the nameless 2.3.4 port, wiped, and then flashed 1.0. I have tried this multiple times and its still a no-go. We don't have to sbf the stock 2.3.4 then root it, do we? Must be missing something here as there are plenty of people with no problems.

I am surprised your phone booted at all. You are using the wrong kernel. Flash the 2.3.4 ota sbf.

Ok, does this need to be done with RSD Lite, or can it be done with bootstrap? Thanks for your help.

furthermore, i did flash the port below first, which i thought would alleviate the kernel issue.

Download the soaktest/leaked sbf for the x2. Sbfs can only be flashed in RSD.
