Droid x gingerbread?

So im new to the droid x. I hear this gingerbread firmware update is released. How come im not getting a update prompt on my droid? Am I missing something? I don't want to root my phone because I am ignorant in hacking and coding...

It was a leaked update, only pushed to a hand full of people............most likely a soak test.

It is available to install manually if you want it............very easy install, and it works great.

I keep looking around and see people mention that there is a new gingerbread leak. I was wonder how I can get it? I am rooted on .573

NO.............you don't have to root the phone to install the Gingerbread leak.

Rumor has it May 10, but again it's only a Rumor.
