Isn't the upcoming LG Urbane LTE round? In not sure if it'll have a cellular radio like my Gear S but if it does that would be worth looking at I would think.
For a measly $600....

Aka plagiarize.I'm not sure. Samsung is supposed to be releasing a watch in the near future that they claim they have taken a step back to redesign. I'm not sure when it is launching. They said they wanted to take their time with this one which, to me, means they wanted to see what the Apple watch brought to the table before throwing another watch into the fray.
Yeah the interior hardware is the same as the G Watch R. With a fancy exterior.
Aka plagiarize.
If I'm remembering right, the iPad was the original but they shrunk it down and made it a phone.Well I didn't want to say that lol
However, I am not seeing the ground breaking streak that Apple usually displays with a new product line launch. When I saw it for the first time all I felt was meh. I was impressed with the OG iPhone and even their OG iPad.

The only thing I found ground breaking about the iPhone besides it not being Windows Mobile was they were able to get millions of people to pay about 500% too much for accessories to keep their iPhone screen from shattering or to charge it in their car. I truly wonder how much they'll ask for watch bands, knowing nobody will balk at the exorbitant price.
I'm another not trying to change anyone's mind but I haven't worn a watch since phones went digital, starting with my old LG 330 flip phone (right around the time Star Tac also put out a digital phone) and started with the Fit for the S Health sync and found the extra bells and whistles to be really cool. Not so much the notifications but things like mapping my bike rides and kayaking trips and having a Bluetooth speaker going from the music player on the phone and controlling the volume, tracks, etc from the watch a full 100' away. As I've written before I actually wanted a Gear Neo for its built in music player along with all the Fit stuff but they were out and AT&T sold me the S for the same price before my employee discount so I actually got the S for $30 less than the Neo. Now I've got to figure out how not to get that white no tan ring on my arm since I'm kayaking and fishing again and the sun is tanning my arms. I've had a slight one on my right arm since 03 when I started wearing a Support the Troops arm band so I guess a bigger one on the left won't look so bad after a while.I had the iPhone 1 to the iPhone 4. That's when I parted ways and shifted over to Samsung until last year's launch of the i6. When I saw a friend of mine that had a huge HTC phone I knew I couldn't do small screened phones anymore. My carrier didn't have that HTC model so I went with the Galaxy S2.
If I wore a watch on the regular to begin with then I probably would be more inclined to run with the smart watches.

Anyway this S has been the first watch I've actually managed not to destroy in under a month since I was a teen (why I stopped wearing watches) and I've got 1 huge scratch on the screen protector along the top. The Fit, other than the screen, is beaten to a pulp.
Again, not trying to sell anything or change a mind but the smartwatch is very durable compared to a regular one and with a little imagination they are much more than a phone butler.
