Anyone seeing the .604 OTA update yet?

Could just be me but I've noticed (or seemed to) better font rendering in the browser.

Could be a placebo effect, but it sure seems that way to me as well.

I think it is better... when I switched from the Droid Incredible to the Droid X, I immediately noticed how the very small fonts in the browser looked really ugly on the X. Like the letters would be inconsistently spaced and not nicely anti-aliased or hinted or something. Definitely doesn't seem to do that anymore.

I think the lock screen is a bit snappier too, but I didn't really pay close attention to it before so I'm not sure.

Well after testing it for a while I can definitely say with confidence the font rendering has improved. Like you said, they are anti-aliased throughout the zoom range now. Nice.

I have noticed less lag with the lock button but that never bothered me before. Scrolling seems to stutter less as well but I have to use it for a few more days to see if it stays that way.

Threads merged, guys we already have another thread on this as well which I left open. We don't need more then two threads in the same area on this.

Thank you.

Pressing home button no longer cycles between home/app list

I've just noticed after installing the update that if I press the home button, it just goes home and if I press it again, it stays on the home screen. With the original stock software, when I would press the home button multiple times, the phone would switch between my home screen and the full list of apps on the phone.

Did anyone else notice this?

I got used to that feature.

It has been noticed. I don't mind it, but is has upset some people. :icon_ cry:

I loved that feature. We should put a request together to get it back.

My buttons light after I installed the update. My battery indicator went up after the installation of the update.

Mine was charging when the update installed. went from 30% charged to 70% after the update (which took, what 5 minutes???) and now, 9 hours later, the damn thing is COMPLETELY dead. BEFORE the update I could get at least 24 hours out of it. Now it says the display is using all the battery (with the screen off) and I didn't get 10 hours out of it with it sitting on my night stand WHILE I SLEPT and wasnt even using the phone! Talk about frustrating! Anyone else have an issue like this?? Battery was better before the update... hope this was a fluke!

alright, how can my battery go from 30% charged to 70% charged just from this update??? says update was successful though!
lol That'd be hilarious if the update shortened battery life.

I think you jinxed me.... phone didn't last ten hours sitting on my night stand while I slept after the install... used to get 24 hours or more out of it LOL thanks! :)dancedroid

Try a reboot when the phone's about to die? Could be the battery indicator bug still sticking around.

ok question, if i do a factory reset now, it will take away the update wont it? that is a last resort if this battery issue doesnt get fixed, but also just curious to know what a factory reset would do now that its had the update....

Where at? I know where I can choose the double click of the home button, but what about the single click.
