Anybody has news on an update to UD 2.0?

I waited in vain for several weeks for an update to 1.0 to restore the functionality dropped with that release. UD 2.0 has just too many issues as discussed in many threads in this forum. I would love to come back to UD and would love to hear some news about an update for this ROM, I am not really interested in having to replace a bunch of applications to fix some of the issues.

they might be minimal but thier has been no news about blackdroid working on a patch or update of sum sort, the issues that were fix were only fix by using Ud 1.0.0 apks, pretty much looks like ud 2.0.0 was only a minor update from ud 1.0.0 NOT KOO

I'm gonna guess in about a month or two...but itll be UD 3.0.0...not a fix for 2.0.0...while the bugs are minimal, they are still annoying

I also honestly have hardly any issues. There is a fix for the gallery glitch, a fix for the swype update, and a kernel change fixes bluetooth and wifi problems.

The features on this ROM are awesome and it runs way better than anything else out there right now. The in-call screen and the overscroll are so frickin cool!

what issues? only issue ive seen are minimal.
A 22 page bugs thread plus another dozen threads for specific issues, workarounds and replacing apps from previous releases is not minimal in my book. It might be minimal for some users if they do not use a lot of the features or don't care about about some of the bugs, but this ROM has quality issues which are very uncharacteristic of UD. BlackDroid has a solid history of putting out the highest quality ROMs. As other have said this one is just not up to par. I am not slamming BD, he is one of the best developers and I truly appreciate everything he does, I am just stating the facts as I see them.
I think it would be nice to hear from BD if there is an upcoming update or not (not that he owes us anything, just would be cool to hear)

To be honest, the only issue I currently have is the wallpaper requiring a reboot to change. I believe this was an issue in .8, fixed in 1.0, and now back again...haven't experienced the wifi, bluetooth, or gallery bugs others have spoken of....

Since UD .8, I have stuck with the stock kernel and have not experienced the majority, if any, of the issues that people seem to speak of in the "bug threads"...I would be interested to see if others have their issues cleared up by sticking with the stock kernel and without using SetCPU....the stock only allows an OC to 800 mhz, but I have not seen any real issues with lag at that speed...

Stock kernel did NOT clear up my issues, which were major (to me). If I can't make phone calls via A2DP Bluetooth, that's a show-stopper. UD1 works fine; UD2, and all improvements thereon, did not.

If you do not use blue tooth, gallery app, camera, 3d drawer, then you will love ud2. I do not use blue tooth, but even with camera fix it is still glitchy ie camera flashing multiple times in 2 seconds. I just tried a wipe 3x and installing ud2 fresh as my last install was just an install over 1.0.0

Take the camera APK from CM6.1 RC4 and the camera works perfect.....no problems with flash and the zoom works without FC

I loved UD8.0 and loaded 1.0. When 2.0 became available I wanted to give it a try. I love all the features that UD has and I really wanted to run this ROM. But it just doesn't seem ready for prime time. Perhaps the next release will be better.

Half of the "glitches" seem to be user wants, not glitches. Other than no zoom on the camera, I havent found any issues. The top left gallery icon isnt themed, but it works fine. The over scroll takes some getting used to, but its not a big deal. The incoming call screen looks to be designed that way, so that wouldnt be a "bug". To each their own.
