Retro Flip Clock received a similar update as Minimal & Elegant, they are both made by the same Dev team. No emoji support, but Little Worlds and battery optimizations. Between this one, Minimal & Elegant and SkyMaster....those are my constant three in rotation.

The one I just posted was more of a drain than the others I like, but still could get through a day. If he was able to improve it at all, that's good enough for me, at least it shows good Dev support.

I like this one. The red is kinda cool I guess. I'd like it better without the gray border. Time will tell if it's a battery hog with it having a moving second hand. If it's a battery hog I'll go back to my old one

This one is very tired and old eye friendly. Again time will tell on battery difference.

I like the blue color & big numbers. Definitely easy on older eyes.

Doesn't seem to be eating battery anymore than the old one I had either.
I wrote a review on the red one (same developer as the blue one) last night and they responded they will update the app soon and give ability to remove the border.

Got only my second "is that an iWatch" yesterday at the comic shop. This is a huge event every year at the local shop. The part that struck me as weird is how excited this woman was. "Oh my god, is that an iWatch!!" So excited.
No, its an Android Watch and of course I had to put spiderman on it today.
She still thought it was neat.
I wanted to say " Apple doesn't even call theirs iWatch!"

No, doesn't surprise me. But I bet they will eventually. It will be a "major update" or some kind if press hoopla and they will open that up at some point.

Right up there with aftermarket keyboards on ios devices. Folks will swear Apple invented the secondary character and the sliding gesture. With watches they'll swear Apple invented the on screen second hand.
