Voice actions not working

I have tried using Voice Actions on my new Nexus Prime ICS phone to send emails or text but while it recognizes the word "Text" the "To" field it not filled in. Instead it fills in the note area with the name of the contact I want to send the text to (same for email).

Any ideas?
