A laptop for only 100.00! Wow. But why running 1.5, not 2.0?

O'Neil really glad someone is taking Googlers seriously. Ill probablly buy one of these even though I don't need one, just to give the OS a chance.

This will be perfect for my 15 yr. old who complains that our 4 yr. old Windows XP laptop is so ancient. Hope it comes out soon. Can't beat the price either.

Note that he said "$100 to the distributor" traditionally the distributor will sell to the retailer who would double the price to the end consumer so it will probably have a retail "list" price of $200.00.

It'd be perfect for me two. You might as well buy 2, they are so inexpensive.;)

Price is $98 to distributors, not $98 retail, but in any case blows away the iCrap.

I'll buy it if not only to support, but I'm sure I'll get a ton of use out of it.

Most of the wireless carriers have netbooks for $200 with a two year contract.

That's my fear, that it would be on a wireless carrier with a contract. Since it has built in WIFI, and if it was in the $100 - $200 range, and no carrier commitment, it would be a bargain.
