A new Android designed for the budget crowd was just announced. The tablet is called the IdolPad Plus from a company called Indolian. It will supposedly sell in the $99.99 dollar or less range, but still has some decent specs. You can actually order the device directly from their website for just $98 bucks for a limited time only. Above is an unboxing video of the device, and below is a quick breakdown of specs followed by their press release with full details:
    • Cortex A8 Chipset, 1.2 GHz CPU
    • 512MB RAM
    • 7” Multi Touch Display
    • Front Facing Camera
    • 360 G-Sensor
    • HDMI output
    • Android 4.0 OS
    • WI-FI connectivity
    • Battery life (4-5 hours)
    • Real Android Google Market

I'd have to try it out. The budget Android tabs I've messed with have been less than desirable.

Pretty Nice for only 100 bucks. And it looks to have ICS on it as well. I would be interested to see what everyone thinks about it.

It will have full access to the Google Play Store, but I doubt it will access to Amazon's appstore, if that is what you meant. :)

why wouldn't it have access to the amazon store? I've always just installed the apk on my phone.... so you could probably download the apk, install it, and have full access to the amazon app store...

at least I don't see why not.

    giving it a try

I ordered one. Not because I need another tablet (my kindle fire works great for me). But because of the price. Even if it is not what I would expect it still is running ICS.
