I believe that you still have a per device line charge on the unlimited plan. Maybe not cuz i don't remember. If not then there is no charge to reduce.

No, I have a charge for minutes, and a $30 charge for data. No line charge I'm aware of.

You might be stuck then? I would double check your bill though.

Or call and find out what kinds of deals they have for reducing prices when it's off contract on those plans. Who knows what other secrets they been keeping up their sleeve?

Those with unlimited data do not get a discount on their line.

Thanks jackiescivic. Is that because those plans don't have a per line charge like the tiered plans do?

I may have a much older plan...I don't have any line charges, I have a $40 charge for voice minutes, which at the time was the plan price for that package of minutes and then later added $30 for data.

So my line access charges are @ $9.99 for three lines, two that are unlimited and one that is tiered and currently on a 3GB plan. Sad part is that one new phone pays more for only 3GB than the other two each do for unlimited.

Thanks FoxKat! Now I remember that 9.99 line access charge. Mine changed to the $40/line when I went to unlimited voice & text and shared data. I was paying $30 per line for data (2 lines unlimited, 2 lines at 4gb each) and $140 for my minutes. A total of $290. Went to $260 when I went to the unlimited voice ($100 of that for 15gb shared data). It looks like unlimited plans are out of luck for the reduced prices when out of contract unless they change their plan (which means losing unlimited).

Yeah, my bill is different. I just have $39.99 for 450 minutes and $29.99 for data.

Wish I would have dropped down to the 250 texts for $5 before they eliminated that plan since I get most of my text through Google Voice.
